Over Spring Break, MMA Students traveled to Madrid, Toledo, Granada, and Barcelona with Ms. Smith and Ms. Nowlan. The girls explored many of the most significant cultural sites in Spain such as Plaza Mayor and the Prado Museum in Madrid, La Alhambra in Granada, and La Sagrada Familia in Barcelona. We participated in a cooking lesson in Toledo and made a traditional dish called Migas with Tortilla Española and Arroz con Leche. Another highlight of the trip was a Flamenco lesson, dinner, and show in Granada. Overall, the trip was an unforgettable experience to explore the Spanish culture and to practice Spanish language skills.
