SeaPerch Team Wins Engineering Process Award

Seven Physics A students to the SeaPerch competition that was held at Temple University. Not only did the team give an excellent presentation, they also did very well in the pool component with the mission and obstacle course.  The team earned two second place trophies, one for engineering notebook and the other for presentation. In both cases the Merion team's score was very close to the first place team's score. In the case of the presentation, Merion Mercy received a 99 and the first place was 100. Finally, the group won the Engineering Process award which includes a plaque, $100, and an invitation to the American Society of Naval Engineers (ASNE) symposium on May 25 for our team members.
