Faculty members Christina Connor and Valerie Prucnal attended Widener University Outreach Program's Introduction to Engineering Workshop. The interactive event for high school teachers, guidance counselors, and administrators offered hands-on learning experiences where challenging activities and teaching interact. The main objectives were: to discover new hands-on and virtual projects to enhance your students' skills, to increase awareness of engineering as a career opportunity for your students, to understand the engineering curriculum and the profile of students best suited for an engineering education, and to learn innovative ways to incorporate technology within your curriculum.
